Maddie is originally from Concord, California in the Bay Area. She grew up swimming, camping, hiking, and doing all things outdoors, which is a large part of how she ended up in Reno, Nevada. She moved for college, earning a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She took that to teaching 4th grade, moving on to teaching the Gifted and Talented program for a few years. Although she found a love of teaching and working with kids, she decided she wanted to take her passion for detail and organization towards a new path- Wedding and Event planning!

Her first experiences for planning started young as Rally Coordinator in High School, then coordinator of Anchor Splash week for her sorority in college, and planning her own wedding in 2023. A crazy turn of events led her to meet Hannah from Atlanta, GA, which led to Maddie falling in love with S&B and the vision of the company. She planned her own wedding down to the smallest detail, and S&B embodies that attention to detail that she appreciates, so she immediately knew it was a good fit for her. Fast forward to 2024, and she is helping to expand the company out west!
